How to Make Mississippi Pork Noodles in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
If you have every looked around Recipes That Crock, you might have noticed that we love Mississippi style recipes. If you do too and want to find them all in one place, go here. When I noticed we did not yet have a Crock Pot Mississippi Pork Noodles recipe, I knew I had to remedy that right quick! So, now you have this incredibly delicious and super simple recipe!
The pork loin is done when you can easily shred it with two forks. If you can’t shred it with two forks, then give it a little more time. Also, I like to cook on low when doing a pork loin. It seems to become more tender when cooked on low than when cooked on high, in my experience.
This recipe is based off of our Crock Pot Mississippi Beef Noodles recipe. It has the great flavor you have come to love and expect from a Mississippi recipe, but gives you a different option on your meat. I love this because now no matter what kind of meat is on sale (chicken, beef or pork) or what your personal preference is, you can have some Mississippi noodles! Yay!
