How to Make Rosemary Garlic Pork Tenderloin in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
I made a few changes from the original recipe when I made this Crock Pot Rosemary Garlic Pork Tenderloin. First, I used a pork tenderloin instead of a pork loin. When I went to the store, I planned on buying a pork loin. However, when I looked at the prices, the pork tenderloin was actually cheaper per pound. I welcomed this surprise and bought the tenderloin. Since a tenderloin is cut differently from a loin, the cooking time is shorter. I also shortened the prep time by not doing the 45-minute rest prior to cooking. When I originally made this recipe, I was adapting a recipe I had found and following their methods. I thought I would give it a try without the rest, because I did not have the extra time. Guess what! It turned out great even without the additional 45 minutes. With using a pork tenderloin, it is fall-apart tender all on its own.
(If this sounds good to you, but you would like to make it with a pork loin instead of a pork tenderloin, you can find the original recipe here.)
