How to Make Easy Good Gravy Potatoes on a Stove Top
Aunt Lou here.
Cris and I grew up in a meat and potatoes family, so it was only natural that I take Momma’s original Good Gravy base recipe and try it out with potatoes. This side dish is so easy to make and is sure to take your dinner up a notch.
I know when you prepare some food by boiling them, you bring the water to a boil first and then add in the food. However, when you are boiling potatoes, you will want to put the potatoes and water into the pot before putting the pot on the heat source. If you put your potatoes in water that is already boiling, it can cause uneven cooking and make them mealy.
(If you think this recipe sounds delicious, but you would rather make it in your crock pot, you can find the original recipe here.)
