How to Make Easy Peach Cobbler in an Oven
Aunt Lou here.
Mine and Cris’ dad’s favorite dessert is a delicious peach cobbler. If you want to get on Dad’s good side, bring him a peach cobbler. Now, my son started proclaiming himself “Papaw’s boy” from the time he could speak, and so it is not surprise that he has the same love for peach cobbler as Dad. When I told him I was making a peach cobbler, he was thrilled! I love that I can throw together this Easy Peach Cobbler in less time than it takes my oven to preheat then the oven does the work!
When you put this together, it is going to look like there isn’t enough there for a 9×13 pan. Trust me. You want this size of pan. It gives the cobbler enough room to spread out and bake. As it is baking, it is going to rise considerably, and the larger pan gives it the space to do so. Don’t worry…once it cools, it settles down. You will want to let it cool at least 15 minutes before serving. It will still be plenty warm, but the cooling time gives it a chance to set up even more.
