How to Make Good Gravy Beefy Tater Tot Casserole for Two in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
When Momma came up with the original Good Gravy recipe, I fell in love and decided to try out the ingredient combination on multiple dishes. This Good Gravy Beefy Crock Pot Tater Tot Casserole for Two is adapted from one of my family’s favorite Good Gravy recipes. I sincerely hope that you and whoever you share this with enjoy it as much as we do.
I’ve been making tater tot casseroles in my crock pot for years. I like crispy tots, so I have always done the broiling step at the end to crisp up my tots. However, I know that some people are not comfortable with using a broiler, so I started thinking about a solution. For this recipe, I left the tater tots off the top of the casserole at the beginning, baked them up to my preference of crispness and then placed them on top once the casserole is done cooking. We loved it done this way as much as we loved the original.
(Psst…if this recipe sounds delicious to you, but you need more than two servings, you can check out the original recipe here.)
