How to Make a Hamburger Casserole in an Oven

This recipe is the one Momma used when I was growing up. This is one of my absolute favorite recipes from my childhood. It is so simple together and a fast meal to help you get dinner on the table on a busy weeknight. I hope you and your loved ones enjoy this recipe as much as I do!

Hamburger Casserole Recipe
Hamburger Casserole (Oven Recipe)
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tablespoons minced dried onion
- 1 oz gravy mix
- .75 cup water
- 7.5 oz tube refrigerated biscuits
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees
- Put your ground beef and minced onion in a skillet over medium-high heat, brown and drain
- Spray your casserole with cooking spray
- Spread your browned ground beef and onion mixture evenly across the bottom of a 2.5 casserole dish
- Mix together your gravy mixes and water
- Pour over ground beef
- Place your biscuits on top
- Put your casserole dish in your preheated oven for around 12 minutes, turning at 7 minutes if you oven cooks unevenly, it is done when your biscuits are golden brown
