With this recipe, you don’t have to soak your beans and it only has a 60 minute cook time! So it is perfect for when you have forgotten to soak your beans or you just don’t want to! 😉 I couldn’t believe how wonderfully the beans turned out with no soaking and an hour of cooking. Can this be done with great northern beans?
I haven’t tried this with great northern beans, but think it could work. If you give it a try, let me know how it turns out!
Hi, will canned beans work too?
Hi Brenda!
I haven’t tried this recipe with canned beans. If you do, you will want to adjust the ingredients to account for the extra liquid and adjust the cooking time. If you give it a try, let me know what changes you made and how it goes!
