I absolutely love our Crock Pot Strawberry Compote recipe, so you know I had to see if I could whip up this delicious recipe in an electric pressure cooker! It reminds me of the topping my favorite little pancake house in the Smokies used to put on top of some delicious crapes. Now you can have that same wonderful strawberry topping at your house to amaze and delight your family and friends!

Instant Pot Strawberry Compote Recipe
Instant Pot Strawberry Compote
Ingredients
- 6 cups strawberries quartered
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 6 tablespoons water
- Serve with angel food cake pancakes, cheesecake, pastry or ice cream
Instructions
- Place your quartered strawberries, orange juice and sugar in a 6 quart instant pot and stir gently until well combined
- Seal and cook on high pressure for 1 minute
- Natural release for 10 minutes
- Mix together your water and cornstarch
- Pour this mixture into your instant pot and stir
- Put your instant pot on saute and stir frequently until it is a little thinner than desired (it will thicken more as it cools).
- Serve over ice cream, pancakes, waffles, pastries, cheesecake, cake or anything else you want!
