question on the hot turkey sandwiches: If you omit the cheese, does it come out like hot turkey with gravy? or does the cheese add a base but not really give you the cheese flavor? I’m envisioning a really good leftover turkey and gravy sandwich and just not sure if I need/want the cheese in it?
I appreciate that you put number of servings, that helps to plan leftovers! This recipe looks yummy. We will be making these.
I know it wasn’t the kind of break you ever want to take and my heart has been with y’all. Good to see you back here!! I will say the Crock Pot Best Ever Beef Stew (that you never made) is high on my list from this menu!! LOL Love you guys and Love to the Crock Posse!!
I made the Beef Stew last night and it was just DELICIOUS!! I used Spicy Hot V8 Juice because I didn’t have regular tomato juice and it worked great!! Also didn’t have barley so I fixed rice on the side to eat with it. I’ve always been a “by the book” kinda cook until I found you. You taught me it was OK to substitute ingredients when need to. Thank you Cris!!!!
