I love the flavor of the Melt In Your Mouth recipes, but I also love how easy they are to make. You only have to have a few ingredients, and they come together really quickly. This Melt In Your Mouth Crock Pot Round Steak Dinner is no different. It take our Melt In Your Mouth Crock Pot Round Steak and adds in some potatoes and carrots. So you go from having a delicious main dish to having a delicious dinner. Both recipes are incredibly tender and flavorful. You can’t go wrong with either one. My loved ones and I thoroughly enjoy this recipe, and it is an easy way to get picky eaters to eat some veggies!
What You Will Need for Melt In Your Mouth Crock Pot Round Steak Dinner
Ingredients Needed
- 2 lbs beef round steak
- 8 oz baby carrots (half of a 16 oz bag)
- 4 medium size Russet potatoes, peeled and cut into wedges
- 12 oz jar beef gravy
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Equipment Needed
- Vegetable Peeler
- Sharp knife
- Cutting board
- Measuring cup
- Measuring spoon
- Wooden spoon
- 6 quart slow cooker
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 10 to 15 minutes
- Cooking Time: 6 to 8 hours on low (With beef recipes like this one, I do not recommend cooking the recipe on high. Your results will be more fall apart, fork tender if you cook it on low. On high, that does not always happen.)

Melt In Your Mouth Crock Pot Round Steak Dinner
Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef round steak
- 8 oz baby carrots (Half a 16 oz bag)
- 4 medium Russet Potatoes peeled cut into wedges
- 12 oz jar beef gravy
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place your carrots and potatoes in the bottom of a 6 quart slow cooker.
- Cut your round steak into serving size pieces.
- Place your cut round steak on top of the veggies.
- Pour your jar of gravy over top of your round steak.
- Pour your water into the gravy jar, put the lid on tightly, shake the jar, take the lid off and pour over everything.
- Sprinkle your garlic powder, salt and pepper on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours until everything is fork tender, turning your insert halfway through cooking if your slow cooker does not cook evenly.
