How to Make Bacon Baked Beans on Your Stove
Aunt Lou here.
This recipe is the stove version of our reader favorite Crock Pot Bacon Baked Beans. The original recipe came from one of our dear readers, Debbie. It was it a hit at my house and the houses of many of our readers too! There is a reason for that…it is scrumdiddlyumptious (any other BFG or Roald Dahl fans out there?).
Many times when we put up a crock pot or electric pressure cooker recipe, we receive multiple requests for the oven or stove top version of the recipe. These yummy baked beans are no exception. So, you know I had to give it a try for you great folks!
This is a great side dish for some barbecue chicken or steaks on the grill or many other yummy main dishes! It is one of my go-to recipes when we need to bring something to a potluck or backyard barbecue. Everyone always raves about these beans. The bacon really takes it over the top! Yum!
