How to Make Creamy Green Beans, Sausage and Potatoes in a Slow Cooker
Aunt Lou here.
Our Crock Pot Green Beans, Sausage and Potatoes is not only a family favorite for us around my house, but a favorite for our readers as well! It is super simple to make and just packed full of comfort food goodness. On top of it all, it is a one pot meal! Winner, winner sausage dinner!
Apparently, this recipe here is also a favorite among tons of readers! We have heard from multiple readers that they love to add in cream of mushroom soup. I have to admit, I was intrigued. So, I gave it a try. I’ll tell you what my dear friends, this is SO good! If you love the original recipe, you are gonna love this version as well! It makes the normal broth/cooking juices/liquid….whatever you want to call it…creamy and just so yummy! I can’t wait to hear from you, dear readers, how much you love it! I just know you will!
You can make it in your favorite 6-quart slow cooker. If you have littles, I highly recommend this slow cooker because of its “cool surround”.
And thank you to all the readers that either left a comment or emailed me to tell me of this delicious tweaking of the original recipe! It is a great addition to our collection of delicious, comfort food recipes that the entire family will love!

I haven’t tried this with a different soup, but cream of celery or cream of chicken might work. If you give it a try, let me know how it goes!
