How to Make Italian Style Pork Chop Dinner in a Crock Pot

Aunt Lou here.

A while back, I made a simple, but yummy recipe, Crock Pot Italian Style Chicken and Potatoes. When I was thinking about what to make up this week for you good folks to try, this recipe came to mind. Then I had an idea! What if I used some boneless pork chops and made it a one pot meal?! And now you have this delicious Crock Pot Italian Style Chicken and Potatoes recipe!

I love how easy it is to throw this recipe together. That is one of the joys of developing recipes, I can create recipes that are super simple! I remember all too well how overwhelming a complicated felt when I was first learning to cook for myself. While I can’t send these easy recipes back to my younger self, I hope they will help someone else who is trying to learn to cook. Recipes like this are also good for those who are completely comfortable cooking, because it gives you a recipe you can throw together quickly, but tastes like it took longer to prepare. Whichever position you are in at this point in life, I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we do!

Haven’t tried this yet, but wonder if some crushed or cubed pineapple would be a good addition?

When you pt a bottle of Italian dressing in a recipe, do you mean the creamy one or the more clear one? I never know as no ne ever says..
