How to Make Pork Loin Gravy Dinner in a Crock Pot

Aunt Lou here.

I was brainstorming for recipe ideas the other day. Two of our most popular recipes, Crock Pot Pork Loin with Gravy and The Perfect Crock Pot Roast. That is when it hit me that I so needed to try making a combination of these recipes. Now, you and I both have this amazing Crock Pot Pork Loin Gravy Dinner recipe. It is amazing!

The pork loin at my grocery store was three pounds instead of one and a half, so instead of cutting it in half, I adjusted the other ingredients to work with the larger amount of meat. While I could have cut it in half and used the other half for a different recipe, I had a hunch we would love this recipe so much that we would want it all. Boy, was I right! Everyone devoured this roast the first night, and each night we had leftovers! It is so good!

What You Will Need

Ingredients Needed

  • 3 lb pork loin
  • 21.5 oz cream of mushroom (2 – 10.75 oz cans)
  • 2 oz pork gravy mix (2 – 1 oz envelopes)
  • 1 cup water
  • 16 oz bag baby carrots
  • 6 potatoes, peeled and cut into wedges
  • 1 onion, cut into four pieces
  • salt and pepper to taste

Equipment Needed

  • Sharp knife
  • Cutting board
  • Vegetable peeler
  • Spoon
  • 6 quart crock pot
  • Meat fork, optional

Time Needed

  • Prep Time: 7 minutes
  • Cooking Time: 6 to 8 hours on low (If pressed for time, you could cook this on high for 3 to 4 hours, but your pork loin may not turn out as tender as it does when you cook it on low.)

Ingredients

  • 3 lb pork loin
  • 21.5 oz cream of mushroom soup (2 – 10.75 oz cans)
  • 2 oz pork roast gravy mix (2 – 1 oz envelopes)
  • 1 cup water
  • 16 oz bag baby carrots
  • 6 medium potatoes peeled and cut into wedges
  • 1 small onion cut into four pieces

Instructions

  • Place your potatoes in the bottom of your 6 quart crock pot
  • Put your pork loin on top of the bed of potatoes and surround with carrots and onion
  • Spoon your soup over top
  • Sprinkle your gravy mix evenly over everything
  • Pour your water over the top of everything
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours on low (Cooking on low will provide you with the most tender meat. However, if you must cook on high, it will be for 3-4 hours.) If desired, flip pork loin over with a meat fork with about 2 hours of cooking left.
  • Remove your pork loin from your crock pot, place in a serving dish, give your gravy a good stir and add your veggies and gravy to your serving dish
