How to Make One Pot Sausage Dinner in a Crock Pot

Well folks, this Crock Pot One Pot Sausage Dinner was a huge hit in my house. I have always made this recipe a little differently, (You can find my original recipe here.) but I thought I would try out the recipe Cris made with one small little change. My family absolutely loves the cooking juices of recipes like this, so I added in some broth to give us more delicious cooking juices in each services. Each and every single person in my family made sure to tell me how much they loved this recipe. It is one of those perfect comfort food recipes.

What You Will Need for Crock Pot One Pot Sausage Dinner
Ingredients Needed
- 29 oz green beans, undrained (2 – 14.5 oz cans)
- 60 oz whole new potatoes, drained (4 – 15 oz cans)
- 26 oz smoked sausage, sliced (2 – 13 oz packages)
- 21 oz cream of mushroom soup (2 – 10.5 oz cans)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups vegetable or chicken broth
Equipment Needed
- Can opener
- Can colander
- Sharp knife
- Cutting board
- Spoon or small stirring spatula
- Measuring cups
- 6 quart crock pot
- Serving spoon (Slotted if you don’t want to serve the cooking juices or non-slotted if you do want to serve the cooking juices.)
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 5 to 7 minutes
- Cooking Time: 4 to 5 hours on low or 2 to 2.5 hours on high

Crock Pot One Pot Sausage Dinner
Ingredients
- 29 oz green beans (2-14.5 oz cans)
- 60 oz whole new potatoes (4-15 oz cans) drained
- salt and pepper to taste
- 26 oz smoked sausage (2-13 oz packages) sliced
- 21 oz cream of mushroom soup (2-10.5 oz cans)
- 1 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 cups chicken broth
Instructions
- Pour your undrained green beans into your 6 quart slow cooker.
- Put your drained potatoes over your beans.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Top everything with your sausage slices.
- Put your soup and cheese on top.
- Pour your broth all around the edges of the other ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-2.5 hours.
- Give it a good stir to stir in your cheese to the cooking juice before you serve it.
