How to Make Creamy Italian Pork Chops in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
This Creamy Italian Crock Pot Pork Chops recipe was an instant hit in my house. Ryder was a little hesitant about the sauce until his sister was going on and on about it, and he decided to give it a try. Then he asked me to give him “a ton of sauce”. It is the perfect mix of a delicious and flavorful sauce and a tender and juicy pork chop.
I knew the specific crock pot I was using to prepare this recipe cooks hot. So, even though I thought it would take 2 hours to cook all my chops, I checked them early. Sure enough, they were done around an hour and a half. I realize many slow cooker would not have enough heat to cook all 6 chops in an hour and a half, but some do. This is why we always recommend watching a recipe closely the first time you make it so you can know how your specific crock pot cooks the recipe and then can make a note of it. I also highly recommend using a meat thermometer. Better safe than sorry! (You can find a full chart of safe internal cooking temperatures for meat here.)
