How to Make The Best Pork Loin with Gravy in a Crock Pot

Aunt Lou here.

When I say that this is The Best Crock Pot Pork Loin with Gravy, I really mean it. It is so simple to make, cooks all day and tastes amazing. You even have a delicious gravy at the end to serve with the pork loin and maybe over some delicious mashed potatoes. This recipe is also a good one to give you more bang for your buck. I use generic pork gravy mix and cream of mushroom soup to help lower the cost. I also keep an eye on my local grocery stores’ prices and any sales going on, so I can get my pork loin for the cheapest price per pound.

The “gravy” in this recipe is really thin, but it can be thickened up real quick in a saucepan on the stove, with cornstarch and water, if you prefer a thick gravy.

In case you were wondering what our readers have to say about this amazing recipe…

Reader Dawn says: “I made recipe as directed and it was wonderful! Put the gravy on the stove, added some cornstarch and pepper. Awesome over potatoes!”

Reader Connie says: โ€œVery easy and very flavorful, a winner for sureโ€

Reader Skye says: “I’ve made it with the loin, but a pack of lean-cut pork chops works just as well, if not better! It’s become a favorite recipe of mine.”

Reader Deborra says: “This is my go-to pork loin recipe. We love it”

Reader Sharon says: “Sorry I hadn’t found this recipe long ago….so simple, and so tender!”

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Place 2.5 lb pork loin in the bottom of a 4 Quart Crock Pot.
  • Spoon 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup over the pork loin.
  • Sprinkle 1 oz pork roast gravy mix evenly over everything.
  • Pour 1/2 cup water around the pork loin.
  • Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours. (If you want the most tender results, I recommend not cooking this on high.) It is done when the internal temperature of the pork loin has reached at least 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Remove your pork loin from your crock pot, place in a serving dish, give your gravy a good stir and pour over your pork loin in your serving dish.
  • *If thicker gravy is desired, before putting the gravy over your pork, put your gravy in a saucepan over medium high heat. While your gravy is coming to a boil, mix together 1 tablespoon corn starch and 1 tablespoon water and pour it in the saucepan. Stir frequently until the gravy comes to a boil. Reduce heat and stir continually until the gravy is just a bit thinner than you want it. It will get even thicker as it cools.
