I notice alot of people ask about not using raw meat like chicken. I always keep scrapes of meat, like a breast did not get eaten at dinner. i debone it then put it in freezer bags. I do this with ground beef, chicken, pork ect. Works really well. One day i notice that it was more ground beef then i needed and could be great for another meal instead of just throwing it all in the pot. Great to pull out for the crock pot dinner or quick bbq sandwich.
