Casserole Crock Pots are Great for Parties
We love using casserole crock pots for potlucks or meals where we want to make serving straight out of the slow cooker easy. The 9 x13 casserole insert is just like a casserole pan you would use in the oven. That means no digging deep in the crock pot or dropping the spoon into the food.

Rotate for Even Cooking
If you find that one side of your crock cooks hotter that the other, simply rotate the pot halfway through cooking, much like you would a casserole in the oven.
Recommended Recipes for Casserole Crock Pot
We find that the casseroles that work best in the casserole crock pot are dishes that do not need to rise or set in the middle. While you can make popular cakes, breads and egg casseroles in this slow cooker, we find a more pleasing texture for those dishes in a traditional slow cooker. However, we LOVE using the casserole crock for casseroles that do not rise and meat dishes that can spread out to cook in all the delicious flavors.

Cleaning Tips for Casserole Crock Pots
- If you struggle with any stuck on food on your casserole crock, we highly recommend using Bar Keeper’s Friend to make clean up a snap.
- We recommend hand washing the lid of the casserole crock. Unfortunately, food can easily get stuck under the handle and latches if you place it in the dishwasher.
