When the good folks atย Reamesยฎย asked me if I would be interested in partnering with them again to create another recipe using their Frozen Egg Noodles, I was super excited. (Note: This post was originally sponsored by them.)

How to Make Mississippi Chicken Noodles in a Slow Cooker

I have always loved the homemade-like hearty texture of their egg noodles and we use them in sooo many of our comfort food dishes. Holiday staples around here like our Slow Cooker Chicken and Noodles (and the Electric Pressure Cooker Version) and our Slow Cooker Beef and Noodles (and the Electric Pressure Cooker Version) are so simple to throw together when all you need to do is grab a bag of their frozen noodles out of the freezer. (Psst… if you want to check out a great non-crock pot recipe for Chicken Noodle Soup using their noodles, check it out here.)
The best part is that even though Reames is doing the work for ya, you still get that same great homemade taste. The Reames folks say that is because the freezing process (as opposed to the dry noodles you find on the shelf) allow them to use the same ingredients you do at home: Flour, Eggs and Water. So instead of thin rubber band-like noodles, you get those fork tender thick noodles that we all love! And, I LOVE that they hold up great when we add them to our slow cooker recipes.

Now… How about that recipe for Crock Pot Mississippi Chicken Noodles that I promised you.
You guys… we have done gone and married two amazing recipes to make an incredible dish. My whole family (and the neighbors we shared it with) are RAVING about this recipe. You know how crazy they are about all our “Mississippi” dishes… well this recipe takes those flavors to a WHOLE new level of comfort food.
